Feline care and nutrition has 3 units that approach nutrition for the domestic cat through the anatomy and physiology of the digestive system. Learn the importance of animal protein in the diet of the cat.
There is a critical examination of thee ingredients of commercial foods and, a practical investigation into a specific form of food and its relationship to feline health. The course is aimed at providing an introduction to nutrition for the non-human animal and in particular, an obligate carnivore.
The course is aimed at anyone caring for cats whether they are in shelters, at home or, in another professional capacity. The course will support CPD requirements for anyone needing to develop their work and career prospects.
There are 3 assignments (one for each unit) that are divided into levels of achievement so you have a choice as to whether to attempt more than the pass level.
The approximate learning hours for this course are 45. This figure does not include own research and self-learning activities to support the unit content or assignment work.

Instalments: these are made by standing order at around £22.50 p.c.m. and can be tailored to individual requirements. International transactions will incur additional fees. You can try unit 1 before committing to the whole course.
