What is Animal Education?

Animal Education is the name of the internet presence for Animal Biology and Care Education and for listing our courses.  We are an organisation that provides high-quality learning for those who are unable to attend college, university or night classes but want to improve their personal and/or professional standing. All courses revolve around animal welfare in all its aspects. Our education programme is produced, delivered and assessed by academics and education professionals with equivalent ethics toward providing an honest and true learning experience away from a standard college or school. See the final paragraph*.

With our accredited courses we offer an alternative pathway to demonstrating subject knowledge and understanding with the underpinning aim of providing the ability to apply both knowledge and understanding in real life.

BOGUS COURSES

*PLEASE be aware of distance learning companies who profess to delivering you a "real" qualification and even letters after your name (these are called post nominals). Some facts:

  1. Only nationally recognised bodies can award you post nominals - if a distance learning company says it's courses are regulated by another company or organisation, check it out! You my find that the regulatory company is the same as the distance learning company.

  2. If the company says you will get letters after your name, check it out. Just Google the letters - see what comes up. Then, type: "post nominals UK" into Google or other search engine.

  3. The same goes for saying they offer you a qualification and it's regulated check here: https://www.gov.uk/find-a-regulated-qualification

Ask us if a course you want to go for from a distance learning company is "real" in terms of being recognised nationally. Pat (the Director of AB&C Education) had experienced many times the misery of having to tell someone that their "qualification" was a con. Therefore, a big part of why Animal Biology and Care Education was set up was to do with bogus claims by distance learning companies saying they had the authority to sell full-blown qualifications and award letters after someone's name.

The Director (Pat) is a member of Royal Society of Biology CBiol MRSB
